Product Spotlight : 8-Color Liquid Chalk Marker Set

In keeping with the black markerboard featured in last week's spotlight (see below), today we are offering this brand new set of liquid chalk markers in 8 bright colors.
What are "Liquid Chalk" markers, you say?
What differentiates them from standard neon or fluorescent-type markers is the pigment. Fluorescent markers use dye as the coloring medium, and they are definitely bright but a little on the translucent side. Liquid chalk markers have thicker pigment suspended within the water-based ink. When used, these markers provide a flow of color much richer than the fluorescent types and, when dry, allow for more a more opaque than translucent quality. These markers really strut their stuff on black writing surfaces as well as on illuminated marker boards. When lit from underneath, the colors really look great and provide a "can't-ignore" beacon for customers and patrons to latch onto.

The recycled rubber content qualifies this tack board as an environmentally-friendly product. We actually sell two versions of this and this particular one features a blue/black speckled pattern. It's a refreshing departure from typical cork or fabric-covered bulletin boards. If you are looking for a bulletin board that's a little out of the ordinary then this one might be for you.
The tack board frame is standard aluminum extrusion which encases the rubber tack board material. The substrate is comprised of a layer of blue/black speckled rubber adhered to a half inch thick fiber board. Unlike some other tackboard surfaces, inserting tacks into this substrate is easy, requiring a minimum of effort. The rubber material is mildew, moisture, and fade resisitant. Try holding that against its cork and fabric brethren! The overall size is 35" wide x 23" tall and comes with hanging hardware already attached to the top of the frame.
